My thoughts in teaching

 

 Teaching as a Lifestyle

 

 I am what I wanted to be at six years old. Teaching is just like introducing your students to a world that they wouldn't have known if they hadn't pursued their dreams. It is the first year of my education but I considered it as the most important transition stage in my life .

Do you imagine how much it is powerful and valuable                                         

for me when a student says for me: " You had made the difference"  This is all because I can touch their lives, feeling and assumptions. I do agree that there are cases and times that we pass through difficult students but because of our passion to develop our students to become critical independent thinkers, we will continue.

Everyone acts in a different way according to its own philosophy. My philosophy in teaching is that you should love what are you teaching and try to conduct this love in your classroom. You should be aware that your classroom is a community composed of students fro various cultural background having different learning styles and multiple intelligence. Second, an educator should be patient enough and very respectful which I consider the cornerstones in education. 

In addition to that, we should raise a generation that believe the matter isn't in grades. Evaluation will not depend on how much did they get on exams but it is a matter of trying, what is being valued is your effort and this is the real essence in education.

Moreover, I think that we should always make high expectations of our students, believing in every one of them regardless their academic power and personal experiences, removing from them the limited thinking.

 

 

Also, a teacher is just like a role model in the class to her     students who should always choose words that inspire them, make them feel that they are self confident. Don't forget your students are the mirror of you, they will take your words as a

strength and power to handle their obstacles, remembering always how you made them feel.

 To end with, classroom teaching is the most complex, most challenging and most demanding activity that had been ever invented. By comparing the complexity of teaching with the much more highly rewarded profession which is medicine, we can get up that classroom teaching is an emergency room during a natural disaster.
